It is almost certain that every new franchisee would’ve turned to Google (other search engines are available) at some point in their decision-making process. Whether it was to research opportunities or to seek further information on specific franchises.
So how do you ensure you are found when potential franchisees search? In most normal marketing, and I would imagine it would relate to your core business marketing, SEO becomes a key a part of this. But when searching terms such as ‘Franchise Opportunities’, listing sites dominate the search results making any traction very difficult! So is focusing time and money on SEO worth the investment?

In this Whiteboard Weekly, I look at the latest statistics, and how the normal September leap in franchise related interest hasn’t materialised, so far this Autumn.
